Sombat Metanee was who had a successful Hollywood career. Metanee found Metanee's beginnings in film with roles in "Tipchang" (1974) and "S.T.A.B." (1976). Metanee began to focus on film after appearing in "Sing Sam Oy" (1976), "Salak Jitr" (1979) and "The Legend of Suriyothai" (2003) with Piyapas Bhirombhakdi. Metanee also appeared in the action movie "Chok Dee: The Kickboxer" (2006) with Dida Diafat. More recently, Metanee acted in the Chartchai Ngamsan action film "Tears of the Black Tiger" (2007).
