Spade Cooley was most commonly known for his impressive musical talents. Cooley worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Vacation Days" (1947) and "The Straight Story" (1999) starring Sissy Spacek. Cooley was also credited in the Anson Mount dramatic adaptation "Tully" (2002) and the crime drama "The Killer Inside Me" (2010) with Casey Affleck. Cooley was most recently credited in the biopic drama "42" (2013) with Chadwick A Boseman. Cooley passed away in November 1969 at the age of 59.
