Terry Funk
Built upon a career full of sweat-inducing, heart-pounding roles, Terry Funk was considered an accomplished actorwithin the action movie genre. He also appeared in the TV movie "Timestalkers" (CBS, 1986-87). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "Wildside" (ABC, 1984-85) and "Quantum Leap" (NBC, 1988-1993). He continued to work steadily in television throughout the eighties and the nineties, appearing on "Tequila and Bonetti" (CBS, 1991-92) and "Danger Theatre" (Fox, 1992-93). He also had roles in film during these years, including roles in "Road House" (1989). He spent the nineties and the early 2000s tackling film roles in the comedy "Mom, Can I Keep Her?" (1998) with Gil Gerard, "Beyond the Mat" (1999) and the Daniel Baldwin action film "Active Stealth" (2000). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr." (Fox, 1993-94). Funk most recently acted in "The Ringer" (2005) with Johnny Knoxville. Terry Funk died on August 23, 2023 at the age of 79.
