Tia Brelis
Director and screenwriter whose feature debut "Trading Mom" (1994) was adapted from her mother Nancy Brelis's book, "The Mummy Market" (1966). A family-oriented film with a updated fairy tale quality, it featured Sissy Spacek as a single mother, traded in by her 12 year-old daughter Anna Chlumsky and her two sons at a place called the Mommy Market where the kids can choose their own new and improved mother. All three alternative mothers were played by Spacek.
