Emanuel Levy Variety While it's nice to see Sissy Spacek in different kinds of roles, the fairy tale as a whole is too didactic and only sporadically charming. Kazall R Admittedly it does have a decent concept but Trading Mom is too formulaic and brings nothing to the table. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Not As Disapointing as it looks It might seem a dull movie, and well kind of is. Anna Chlumsky is great however in the movie as well as the two actors that play her brother. Its not in every Blockbuster in town, but if you get a chance to rent a movie, look for this one (just make sure you're doing something while watching it, it won't seem as boring.) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Spoiled kids wish they can have a different mom and they get their wish and get three picks at the mommy market. Yawn! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I seen this movie on The Disney Channel when I was a kid, "Trading Mom" more likes Failure Kids who need a new mom but its was totally bad for real Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member I remember this movie being a little better when I watched it as a kid. The idea of it all was neat and intriguing but the acting and flow of the movie could of used some work. They did a poor job of showing how caring and nice the real mom actually was, so when the kids went searching for a new mom it seemed unwarranted. Some of the situations were funny and entertaining but most of it was a little to far over the top and exaggerated to be great. The kids were good in their parts and really made it seem like they were siblings. By the end I didn't really care if they found a new mom and that was a big thing with the movie, it never made me care for what was going on. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member watched it when i was younger now my kids have watched it and loved it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
