Tiny Tim worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. He also appeared in the TV movie "Ironside" (1966-67). His recording of "TipToe Through the Tulips" in 1968 became his signature song. He appeared in a number of television specials, including "A Last Laugh at the 60's" (1969-1970) and "Clownaround" (1971-72). Following that project, he acted on the silver screen, including roles in the Paul Simon drama "One-Trick Pony" (1980) and "The Street of Dreams" (1988). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "National Off-The-Wall People's Poll" (1984-85) and "The Tube Test" (1990-91). Tiny Tim also created music for "Q&A" (1990) with Nick Nolte. Tiny Tim also appeared in the The Who documentary "Message to Love: The Isle of Wight Music Festival 1970" (1996) and "Private Parts" (1997). He held additional roles in television including a part on "New York News" (1995-96) and he appeared on the television special "Miss Howard Stern New Year's Eve Pageant" (1993-94). He also acted on the big screen in films like the documentary "Message to Love: The Isle of Wight Music Festival 1970" (1996) with The Who and the comedy adaptation "Private Parts" (1997) with Howard Stern. Tiny Tim also contributed music to the Patrick Wilson horror flick "Insidious" (2011).
