Troy Curvey Jr.
Troy Curvey Jr. was an actor who worked in television most of his Hollywood career. He also was featured in the miniseries "Fresno" (1986-87). He also acted in various film roles at the time, appearing in "Colors" (1988) and the action flick "Lock Up" (1989) with Sylvester Stallone. He continued to work steadily in television throughout the nineties, appearing on "Down the Shore" (1991-93), "Rhythm & Blues" (NBC, 1992-93) and "Sweet Justice" (NBC, 1994-95). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Don't Look Back" (HBO, 1995-96). He also had roles in film during these years, including roles in "Vampire in Brooklyn" (1995) featuring Eddie Murphy. Recently, he tackled roles on "The Bernie Mac Show" (2001-06), "CSI: Miami" (CBS, 2002-2012) and "Grey's Anatomy" (ABC, 2004-). He also was featured in the TV movie "Muhammad Ali: King of the World" (ABC, 1999-2000). Curvey most recently directed the Arnez J drama "Up Against the 8-Ball" (2004).
