Writer and director Weronika Tofilska, based in London, was born in Poland. Her career first started with writing and directing the short "Kolejny dzien" (2008). Tofilska would spend the next few years working on different projects, like "Last Train" (2010), which won multiple awards on Polish and International film festivals, but her first big break on television came with the series "The Irregulars" (Netflix, 2021), for which she directed two episodes, and "Hanna" (Amazon Prime Video, 2021). The following year, she worked on "His Dark Materials" (HBO, 2022). More recently, Tofilska directed the hit mini series "Baby Reindeer" (Netflix, 2024), and had her long feature film debut as a co-writer of "Love Lies Bleeding" (2024).
