Zachary Laoutides
Zachary Laoutides is an American actor and writer born in Chicago. In 2014 Laoutides and Mónica Esmeralda León formed the first Latino film studio, Ave Fenix Pictures, in Chicago and the Midwest. They are also founders of the cinematic approach coined as La Raza filmmaking. Laoutides earned recognition for his role, writing and acting in "Adios Vaya Con Dios," an Official Selection at the 2014 Bel Air Film Festival. He also wrote and acted in "Arise from Darkness" (2017). Laoutides worked in collaboration with León for the film "Black Ruby" (2017) which earned film festival nominations in London, Rome and Los Angeles.
