Audience Member There is undeniable heart in Living the Dream, with its implicit criticism of mercenary values, but its world is populated solely by hustlers, recruiters and salesmen with nothing to sell. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member jeez, this was immensely boring. the leading man (Christian Schoyen) has got to be the worst actor i have ever seen. and another thing, if the character in the movie moved to America when he was ten or something and had been living here for over 20 years, he would speak a lot better English than what he pulls of here. eller for aa si det paa godt norsk "Skikkelig gebrokkent". But it is cool to see Norwegian dudes in a movie made in Hollywood. it was just a damn shame they were talentless hacks. The storyline itself is below mediocre. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Fantastisk dårlig film :) Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Michael Ordoña Los Angeles Times There is undeniable heart in Living the Dream, with its implicit criticism of mercenary values, but its world is populated solely by hustlers, recruiters and salesmen with nothing to sell. Rated: 2/5 Nov 24, 2006 Full Review Frank Lovece Film Journal International A vapid mess that outwardly looks like a theatrical movie but just careens around from sequence to disconnected sequence like a badly tarted-up pinball. Mar 1, 2007 Full Review Chad Greene Boxoffice Magazine "Will you stick with me, no matter what?" Brenda asks on more than one occasion. Unfortunately for the filmmakers, the audience's answer may well be "no." Dec 1, 2006 Full Review Andy Klein Los Angeles CityBeat This vanity production ... seems to want us to sympathize with characters who are both unlikable and stupid. Where at the beginning I thought the level of abuse [the hero] endures was absurd and unrealistic, by the end I wanted to join in. Nov 30, 2006 Full Review James C. Taylor L.A.
