Critics Consensus

Kate Beckinsale is as lovely as ever, and does her best with the material, but moribund pacing and an uninspired plot leave Whiteout in the cold.

Keith Uhlich Time Out Kate Beckinsale is about as convincing a U.S. Marshal as Joan Crawford is a loving mother. John M I disagree with the general consensus. I found the movie entertaining and the threat and danger of the severe Antarctic environment the storyline was placed in convincing enough. Kate Beckingsale and Tom Skerritt were solid in their respective roles and the I had no issue with the pacing or plot. Underrated ! ✨ Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/06/24 Full Review Nina E I consider myself to be a horror movie connoisseur and it's frustrating that streaming services categorize whiteout as a horror movie. It is a decent action movie with Kate Beckinsale as a kicka** girl cop but it is not scary aside from maybe a scene involving surgical amputation but that's about it. It's just a typical action crime thriller. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/28/24 Full Review Bob J Pretty weak story line. No reason for several characters (Delfy especially) except to try and trick you into thinking they may be the bad guy. As silly as radioactive jellybeans! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/22/24 Full Review xx x Watched for a second time. Had a good time. Not a masterpiece but very enjoyable. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/19/23 Full Review justin r Good-looking but paper-thin thriller. ** out of ****. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/04/22 Full Review Read all reviews
