      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

Though a noble effort, O Jerusalem fails to combine this history lesson and human drama into a coherent cinematic piece.

dan m Historical drama showing what happened after World War 2 and the start of the Israel-Palestine war in 1947. It mostly shows a small group of friends which is made up of three Jews and one Arab and how the conflict affects their friendship. It's interesting in terms of learning the history, but I wasn't really into the story involving these four people and at times it seemed a little too unbelievable. The acting wasn't all that great either and some of the effects seemed cheap. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The beautiful and inspiring story of two friends, as the mean to explore and portray one of the world most problematic social conflicts. Truly deserves to be watched. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Good for the importance of the historical moment it is talking about. The story is also emotive, although it is clear it has been created to use as an example of the circumstances, not as a realistic one. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Decent movie. Nothing spectacular, though... Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Not as good as I thought it was going to be. However, it does have a great message. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member A very moving film that includes actual historical footage. It made a historical event I was impartial to mean something, and I think that's the point of a movie like this. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
