Audience Member Probably the best Lithuanian film that's out there. Loved the eerie music and the bleak scenery that added to the dramatic setting. The story line kept me engaged as I was trying to piece the puzzles between the characters. The ending was truly magnificent. If you've seen The Prestige by Christopher Nolan, you'll know what I'm talking about. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member I don't think I have seen many Lithuanian films, but this was an interesting one. Many people involved - a woman that think she has a child in an orphanage, the real mother, the kid and some father figures. It turns a bit messy and it's hard to give it much attention. It got nice touches, like the big happening here, showing some connections. Still it feels flat and not all that. Some irritating shaky-cam does not help much either. Quite cool music at times. I do hate that jingle that end some scenes though. Impressive acting from the drunk fellow - that needs a mention. Well, I guess I should have payed more attention to it, but I would have if it had been better. Maybe it was a wrong film to pic for the day. Anyhow, a nice try, but no cigar. 5 out of 10 passports. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member fantastic cinematography~!!!!!! arrangements are so nicely put together, generates such a tension for every juxtaposition. most appreciate when the screenplay idea is so widely used, but still making the whole film a total experience, awesome! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member My first time to see a movie from Lithuania and a precious experience to meet up with the directors and actors at the film festival after the movie for a 10-15 min sharing. The idea of the story is good and it's kinda surprise and a twist when you watch till the end of the film to find out the so-called 'truth' of the incident. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member A great experience in seeing a Lithuanian film under hand held camera, presenting the idea of six degrees of separation in an interesting story. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member I watch it in HKIFF, it really inspire me a lot. It really a great one, I love the way of the story telling. Everything is connected, everyone also connected too. The best movie I saw so far this year. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews
