This movie is called a “slow burn” by some. This movie goes exactly nowhere though. The pacing is horrid. The development is poor. And the payoff at the end? What payoff?!? This has to be one of the worst movies I’ve ever watched. Don’t believe the hype. It’s not good.

sadly, i failed to experience the depth that so many others feel watching this movie. what do we truly know about Alice, and is the point meant to be the sad truth of the answer: “nothing”? it’s unsettling to be sure, but not the resonant portrait of grief it’s made out to be…
