I’m a huge fan of found footage movies, but dear lord this is one of the worst I have ever seen. They go on for 30 minutes straight at a time on plot lines that literally do not matter. You don’t learn anything that helps solve the case that you’re led to believe will be solved by the end of the movie. Nothing mattered in this entire film. It’s a slog and there is no payoff whatsoever. Not even a jump scare to keep things interesting. There is no substance.

I come back to this movie often. It gives a sense of dread and has some great twists. The story is horrible but believable and the acting is fantastic. Definitely in my top ten of it's genre.
