Audience Member Quite quirky but ultimately tries too hard. Couldn't get through it. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member If there is ever a question that, if its possible to make really bad movies, then the answer is yes and this is the best example.... Al final las personas no pueden cambiar Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member "Danny Masterson is already a big step, could be hilarious!" What a deranged and looney movie! It's a slapstick comedy with a curious way of depicting the three different 'criminal-groups', that is in 'sovjet' black and white, scratchy old and gangsta shiny. For a while they manage to seperatly show them while they are so conveniantly breaking into the same pawn shop on the same night! The humor consist mostly of the stupidity of the lesser men of the groups and the 'cultural' differences. The set-up and lead to the heist is amuzingly inaccurate and nicely compared. Not much is asked from the acting, it's all pretty absurd. Handy map-graphics help us to visualise it all as almost everything takes place in the shop or 2 to 3 other inside-places. The ending is kind of predicable. Worth the view, certainly for the original approach! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Amusing heist film about three separate teams of crooks (the "Amateurs", the "Moolies" and the "Sputniks") who all just happen to rob a local pawn shop owner of her safe, on the same night. Debut feature from director Julian M. Kheel is an utterly original and stylish comedy which uses 3 different film styles to represent each criminal team. Beautifully features NYC and the colorful characters that live there. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
