TIME Magazine An exciting melodrama, not as good as it ought to be but a cut above the ordinary trapdoor-and-winding-sheet type of mystery film. Oct 15, 2008 Full Review Variety Staff Variety A sublimated ghost story related with all surface seriousness and above all with a remarkably effective background of creepy atmosphere. Robert Very cool to see a classic film on the big screen, hopefully they do this all the time with movies I never got to see in theaters Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/15/23 Full Review Larry K A classic monster movie. Dracula is awesome. Crazy this is almost 100 years old Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/25/25 Full Review Jace T There is no denying the renown and legend of this film being the first Dracula movie ever produced. Bela Lugosi plays an incredible Dracula, and is largely the best part of the entire film. There are some beautiful shots and atmosphere in this movie, but the pacing really holds in pack in the modern world. Also, the fact that you never really see any death or blood really makes it not pulse as well as it could in todays world. I would like to give credit to Helen Chandler as Mina, and Dwight Eye as Renfield in this film. They are also really fun characters to watch. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/15/25 Full Review Lau S I love this horror movie! Damn great! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/29/25 Full Review Nim T Hearing the word Dracula as a young kid brought chills to my stomach. As an adult and having the opportunity to watch this film, I learned about how hard Bela Lugosi had to prepare in this role. The muscle movements he had to tolerate with his eyes was a difficult trait to maintain. The suspense, followed by the usage of a accent brings nostalgia to what Dracula should look or sound like. Renfield's character also played a classically good job with his mental expressions with wide eyes and dramatic speech. Even though this film is almost 95 years old, it nevertheless brings a foundation for what horror movies were like. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/24/25 Full Review Black C โคตรชอบเลย โคตรจะคลาสสิค เป็นแวมไพร์ที่ดีที่สุดละ แต่ยังไม่ได้อ่านนิยายทีรอตีพิมพ์ใหม่ก่อนแล้วกัน Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/28/25 Full Review Read all reviews
