Max P Dec 22 An embarrassing squandering of talent and resources. I couldn’t bear sitting through its entirety. Sir Lew Grade earned a title change to Sir Low Grade for this bomb. The only scene worthy of mention is when Coburn’s character is trying to recruit OJ Sumpson’s character to help him in an assassination hit. OJ’s character replied, "I don’t murder people." Too bad more attention wasn’t paid to that. See more Jean-Michel C 06/10/2023 Well, you'll have a hard time finding a movie that is worse than this disaster. Bad acting, bad direction of course, laughable stunts, improbable story etc If you want to see cars and helicopters exploding by themselves that's the film to watch. Maybe it's supposed to be science fiction, in the end. As for Sophia Loren, she's the proof that even a prestigious cast can't take the whole production on its shoulders alone. James Coburn plays an professional bounty hunter, Jerry Fanon, out to bring back a mysterious billionaire Kerl Stegner who is wanted by the U.S. Justice Department but cannot be extradited. Sophie Loren plays a former lover of Coburn's character, Adele, whose husband was killed by assassins hired by the Stegner. O.J. Simpson (yes, O.J. Simpson) is Coburn's partner Catlett. Eli Wallach is along for the ride. As usual, Coburn is very watchable and there are a few interesting plot twits but its not something I had not seen before. Coburn is sent to bring a rich and powerful pharmaceutical head back to the US to face charges from the justice department when extradition efforts prove fruitless.
