Audience Member It was a interesting look at Churchill after the great depression and before WW2. The resemblance to Churchill was incredible. Also the way the British Government were so complacent toward the Nazi war machine. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Excellent history film about Winston Churchill. Great acting! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Saw the 2002 version with Vanessa Redgrave and Albert Finney- Finney was incredible, Redgrave kicked ass- and the movie is perfect if you love history and Churchill. However, as a dork, I have to say I'm disappointed it cuts off when it does. So many interesting things left before he becomes PM in the movie and they leave them all out. But good nonetheless. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member It's amazing how well this shows Churchill's character and beliefs - one of the greatest movies and leaders of all time Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member I actually thought this would bring up the 2002 version, but in any case; one of the best movies I've ever seen; it's historical, interpretive but responsibly so, and it's about one of the most amazing characters of the 20th century. Hurrah, hurrah. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member A Masterly performance by Albert Finney as Winston Churchill. HBO's best movie ever Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
