Piggles M @Pigmon Jan 10 The first few scenes were promising but then the film descended into a banal treatment of themes that were ripe with opportunity for humour and lightness and beauty. What was produced here was a boring series of cliches and deeply flawed ideas, scenes and characters that i continued to watch in hope that either some mishap would befall these monsters or that the writer was somehow hiding a trick up their sleeve. They weren't. To be positive: some mildy good performances from a cast with a lot of skill. But no matter how much skill you throw at a project as awful as this it is impossible for it to be viewed as anything other than a waste of the cast's time, my time and your potential time.
