Matt Brunson Film Frenzy Presley could effortlessly carry this picture himself, but that's actually not required thanks to the efforts of an excellent supporting cast. Stuart G A very enjoyable Elvis movie with equally good songs and a very strong support cast. Gig Young, Lola Albright and a young Charles Bronson were all excellent. Definitely one of Elvis better projects and not just for die hard fans. A must see for anyone who enjoys 1960’s cinema. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/09/24 Full Review Audience Member More Elvis pap. Only for fans - not me, I'm giving this a wide berth. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/06/24 Full Review Jordan B One Elvis film that doesn't get the credit it deserves: Elvis plays a familiar part (Walter): a well mannered, smart, ambitious man fresh out of the military. He finds work as a jobber sparring partner, but turns out to be Gig Young's golden goose. While Gig's character (Willy) has a few character flaws, Walter falls for his sister and realizes there are reasons why Willy has good in him. Mix in Charles Bronson and arguably one of Elvis's top soundtracks front to back, and you have an entertaining family flick. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/22/24 Full Review steve d Interchangeable with a million other Elvis films. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Such a script was a waste of some terrific talent. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Excellent movie. One of my top 3 Elvis favorites. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews
