Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times There are countless comic possibilities in Last Resort, most of them unrealized. The movie seems to have depended on a concept rather than a screenplay. Audience Member Some movies are so bad that they are entertaining. This one was not. To be fair, I couldn't watch more than fifteen minutes so I don't know if it got any better. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Aptly named waste of time & celluloid is ‘National Lampoon’s Vacation’ minus the setups, punchlines, structure, & any likable characters. Flat, dumb, & cheaply-made, I weep for Ashton, Hartman, & Mullally, but especially Grodin. #nitrosMovieChallenge Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/22 Full Review Audience Member Working dad hopes to save some money while on vacation with his wife and kids by staying at a cheap resort. Why such a cheap price? The resort is filled with perverts. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Poor comedy about a man who escapes winter and the office by taking the family for an island resort vacation but finds the accomodations seriously lacking. I expected more from Charles Grodin. Watch only as a last resort. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Poor comedy about a man who escapes winter and the office by taking the family for an island resort vacation but finds the accomodations seriously lacking. I expected more from Charles Grodin. Watch only as a last resort. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Stressed Chicago businessman takes his family to a questionable resort on a small island. A good cast does what it can with this material. Better to watch VACATION again instead. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
