See more 12/08/2011 Mostly likable comedy goes over-the-top but still makes for pleasant viewing despite silliness. The slapstick is often too much, and Deneuve isn't really suited for this type of comedy, though she certainly looks stunning and gives a capable performance. Montand fares better, and the chemistry between the two stars gives the film some playfulness. Most surprising is Tony Roberts in a supporting role as a nightclub owner whose painting-- was it a Renoir or a Toulouse-Lautrec (?) (I think it was the latter...)-- is stolen by Deneuve.
