I think this is a nice little film about an offbeat girl in an offbeat town who falls for an offbeat guy. I really like the script and the performances by Rosanna Arquette, Eric Roberts and Jim Youngs.

Okay romance, nothing too special. Arquette's acting elevated the film a bit for me, plus I like the 80's vibe it has (it even has Dokken music).

Beth Henley's work is better suited for the stage, but the off-kilter quirkiness is actually perfectly suited for Rosanna Arquette. An odd little film that just manages to work.
