Jeff M I vaguely remembered this from my early HBO days when it popped up in one of my Amazon Prime categories. It was the end of a long weekend, and I wasn't wanting to delve into anything particularly deep, so I thought I'd give it a shot to see if it brought back any memories. Mistake. This is a nauseatingly inept, downright horrible "comedy" with nary a laugh - not even a chuckle - that enhances the worst of us as a culture. God forbid advanced lifeforms from another planet visit earth and come across one of us watching this slop - what a horrible representation of the human species. I enjoy a good 80s sex comedy - THE LAST AMERICAN VIRGIN and BACHELOR PARTY come immediately to mind - but this is loaded with unappealing characters and performances that would be unacceptable in a bad Suzanne Somers sitcom. As a result, despite all the flesh, there is nothing sexy about this. And this has got to contain the worst 80s soundtrack of any film in history - it gives my era a REALLY bad name. If you want a reason to hate teenagers more than you already do, you might find purpose here. Otherwise find a nice infomercial. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/04/24 Full Review M M This is 80's beach cheese at it's best, humor with a little serious story line and babes, tons of babes. People that like this movie but are critics have no choice but to slam it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Sean Cunningham makes another useless entry in an over-inflated genre. It's all fairly tame and forgettable, and none of the leads leave any kind of impression. I guess the wet t-shirt contest was something that might be effective for you, but I'm pretty sure you'd only have an attachment to this movie if you saw it as a preteen... Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/24/20 Full Review Audience Member Typical dumb college romp. But it's fun. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Funny in a mindless way. Still never inspired me to do anything more on spring break than golf. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Funny movie made for fun.
