For their part, Vaccaro and Lom do solid work and Pleasance is credible, but the rest of the cast range from forgettable (Maur Thorp) to terrible (Stallone). Go to Full Review

This awful movie immediately signals its barrel-bottom credentials by casting Frank Stallone as the hero. Go to Full Review

Christie's original story is made of stern enough stuff that even Towers couldn't make a completely worthless version of it - no matter how many times he tried. Go to Full Review

SUE C Apr 23 Dreadful, dreadful film version of this Christie classic. Sarah Maur Thorp particularly grating as Vera Claythorne; her role consisted of close-up screaming (or was that me) and making up winsomely to the Stallone character. Too many idiotic inconsistencies to list but why when they terrifiedly retired for the night in the camp to their separate unsecured and doorless tents, did they warn each other 'not to open their tent to anyone'. Donald Pleasance must have been desperate for work. In fact so must they all. And the film was set in S Africa during the apartheid era. Nuff said. You could also watch the solid modern version And Then There Were None (2015). See more Steve D 09/07/2023 Ok but there are better versions. See more robert c @Cratchit 08/11/2021 Agatha Christie would be so ashamed of this production. See more 07/21/2018 Uneven adaption of Agatha Christie's classic murder mystery. The set up is whodunit heaven. It's clever, but was much better done in the older version called "And Then There Was None. See more 09/27/2016 Well aged mystery acted by some great talents.
