Lewis Carroll's beloved fantasy tale is brought to life in this Disney animated classic. When Alice (Kathryn Beaumont), a restless young British girl, falls down a rabbit hole, she enters a magical world. There she encounters an odd assortment of characters, including the grinning Cheshire Cat (Sterling Holloway) and the goofy Mad Hatter (Ed Wynn). When Alice ends up in the court of the tyrannical Queen of Hearts (Verna Felton), she must stay on the ruler's good side -- or risk losing her head.

"Alice in Disneyland" is in the best Disney tradition of cuteness, sentimentality and pastel-toned animation. It stresses the wacky as much as the witty and strives valiantly but not always successfully to capture the fragile nonsense of Carroll's words.

The color is a constant and steady visual thrill. The depths achieved in many scenes are greater than I remember in "Disney" before and all the major characters are not only voiced but given proper emotion, temperament and personification.

This movie is worst the wizard of oz & peter pan the cat is stupid and annoying Alice makes no friends just like Dorothy and no other characters joining the main character which sucks it so empty take for explain Dorothy had Toto with her along her journey in oz and she makes friends as for Wendy in peter pan she had her brothers with her along with peter pan not nana the dog which is fine and the villains are my favorite an evil witch and a pirate chasing our characters in oz and neverland Alice is stupid

Wow, watching this as an adult is truly mind blowing! Life just giving this poor girl uppers and downers and all rounders. On another note if you want to feel like Alice do your safe a favor and stop by Meow Wolf.

One of Disney's most iconic movies that holds up better than I remember. It captures the nonsensical absurdity of the book. The film's artwork is filled with crazy trippy visuals about nonsense. The characters of wonderland range from fun to obnoxious, all very memorable. I love the creative visuals and chaotic frantic pacing with this dreamlike episodic story of unforgettable vignettes. Alice herself is very likable and inquisitive with some great voice acting that makes her a great foil to all the madness around her. I loved the Walrus & the Carpenter scene. I loved the surreal flower & bird song sequences. I loved the dreamlike surreal quality of the setting with the vibrant colors, slanted angles, and black backgrounds. The Queen of Hearts is a very entertaining villain with a booming voice that goes back and forth between being incredibly intimidating and childish. I love how she could just snap at any moment. I appreciate all the creative artistry this movie has to offer.
