Audience Member Great early nineties cinematography - and that's where the compliments end. Drawn out "hip" crime dialogue done at a snail's pace, hokey coincidence character interaction, uninspired performances and virtually no action. Could have been an addition to modern noir, but utterly fails. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Ok movie but it's a Mild-average movie and it just feel a little uneven action/crime with very low on ideas that's bit lacking in excitement. Often lower then Passenger 57 & MONEY TRAIN , Rising Sun. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member This is exactly as dull and boring as Wesley's facial expression on the cover. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member A solid neo-noir with excellent supporting performance from Viggo Mortensen, Dan Hedaya, and, of course Dennis Hopper. I think the unfortunately low scores and the films poor initial reception are largely the fault of the terrible marketing which sold a character driven noirish police procedural as an over the top action thriller. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review william s Just a bad choice of work by everyone involved. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member It baffles me how you could put such quality actors in a movie and fail to amuse or entertain. The diaogue falls so flat, you'll wince during every line. I kept hoping that someone would cut off Dennis Hopper's arms so he'd stop gesturing on every syllable.
