Audience Member I have seen better but still pretty good. Still will recommend it James Welch, Henderson, Arkansas October 29, 2023. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/29/23 Full Review Audience Member It's refreshing to get a Western featuring an all black posse. This is the kind of thing that doesn't get enough spotlight in this genre. Van Peebles is a cool badass in this, and his crew are really fun, but the movie itself doesn't do anything really standout or compelling. It's a decent Western, but not a great one. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/22/20 Full Review Audience Member A complete turd burger of a movie. I will keep reviewing movies like this until RT stops blocking votes for Black Panther. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member A very good story filled with action and good actors Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Just average overall. Thought it had much more potential with the story but I'd say the direction and editing were flawed in too many places to make it an interesting watch Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review william s T^he script can never catch up to the jumble mess that is the story line. Richard Brody New Yorker Van Peebles tells the story with ferocious vigor and unsparing brutality, entering Jesse's haunted memory and dramatizing the farsighted schemes and improvisational daring on which the men's survival depends. Jun 12, 2018 Full Review Peter Travers Rolling Stone Rousing entertainment directed by Van Peebles with a rare sense of purpose and mischief. May 12, 2001 Full Review Jeffrey M.
