Main puzzler, and it's a good one, is Walken's character, who remains an enigma. Go to Full Review

V P Apr 30 Christopher Walken and Lorraine Bracco make this movie steamy. Wish it had more romantic scenes. Allover an exciting plot with great chemistry between the two characters. See more 02/03/2013 Not officially 'good' by any stretch, but if you have an appreciation for direct-to-video style, low-budget cheese this film is entertaining in ways that were never intended. And although even Walken is Walken-less in this story-go-nowhere, wing-every-scene, directionless too-small-to-be-a-flop flop, i enjoy this one, if for no other reason than as case-study intrigue in the "what were they thinking" vein. Things that make you go hmmm. I particularly enjoy the larger-than-life, taking themselves too seriously attitudes exuded from all the main characters. They're all insignificant low-lifes but don't tell them that or they may stop being so accidentally funny. Pretty good bad stuff, just not miserably great. To put into perspective, I could happily watch this wreck 10 times a year, but could never say the same of the universally agreed highly-rated and supposedly 'great' piece "Heathers," so there it is.
