Mike P Garbage, just like the tv show that spawned it. Brainless hickspoiltation. (If you want redneck comedy drama see Raising Arizona). This is probably at the bottom of the movies-based-on-tv-shows list; the top being The Fugitive. I love the fact that it stuck to the story line while adding it's own humor to it. It can't be exactly like the original because it is recasted with different actors. The movie is heart warming, funny, and family friendly. To me it’s a story of a low class family completely satisfied with the simple life and have a childlike sense of curiosity and friendliness. And end up stumbling upon a billion dollars move to cali and everyone around them can’t seem to handle it. Whereas they continue to be themselves. I found it funny too I laughed a handful of times during this film.
