Matt Brunson Film Frenzy One of the finest Ripper films to date. Rated: 3.5/4 Oct 28, 2020 Full Review Chris Alexander Alexander On Film This is an essential piece of Ripperphilia on film and just an all-around killer bit of sordid period-piece horror. Feb 5, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Brad P Jack the Ripper has been realized so many different ways as a contemporary character it's hard to compare this film to others where he is featured. I liked the Hammer-esque approach here, and making The Ripper something a touch beyond simply evil (at least, until his identity is known) was a smart decision. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/09/23 Full Review Audience Member the lack of correct British accents did me in. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member An infamous killer frightens London--England teaming up with US against Jack!! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Thought it was pretty good, it was showing on AMC and older horror movies are great to watch for the sheer fact that its not all about the gore to keep you interested. It is in black and white and the characters are definitely like the 50's but I think people should watch it just to appreciate old horror films again Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member A dull and fictious Jack the ripper story. I understand they were going for a fiction approach, but it just didn't work. The ultimate reasoning for the killings was extremely unsatisfying. The American who was brought into investigate didn't get enough screen time. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Solid retelling of The Ripper story... While the film is dated by a lack of blood, the atmosphere is great. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews
