nick s Well produced film with excellent acting and directing, but really fell down at the end. The audience was expected to believe that a long piece of action was a dream sequence or hallucination... felt like a copout. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/25/23 Full Review Sandy D Was that Judy Garland as the manicurist in the cameo with Steve Cochran at the beginning of the film? (The actress is unidentified in the cast). And who was the older woman (his barber) interacting with them? Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/13/23 Full Review Audience Member A twisting, convoluted outing. Several holes and implausible events keep the viewer off balance, but the main attraction are the characters - especially those played by Cochran and Lorre. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review william k Odd Cornell Woolrich adaptation hold's our attention with good Noir atmosphere, a capable cast and some suspense, but the disappoints with an unnecessary twist ending. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Extremely stylish unusual movie ; a noir spoof , no mystery involved , with four great actors in lead parts doing their best with a slightly ludicrous plot. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review andy f A madhouse film noir that has great cinematography and performances given above the expected stature of the cast. It has its flaws but the film enthralls throughout. Very good indeed. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
