Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/01/24 Full Review Mike W I enjoyed the movie, especially the road racing circa 1954. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/06/23 Full Review christopher c. m I wasn't born until a couple decades after this, I'd love to know if these cross country multi-country Speed Racer type races existed back then? This story might have worked with a longer run time, 73 minutes isn't enough to tell the story right. Like, he claims he's running to Mexico because the person who framed him never planned for him to live to stand trial. Why? Why go the trouble of framing him just to kill him, just kill him? It makes more sense that either Frank was lying or entered to race because another race team could be the real killer heading for Mexico. But him kicking ass and driving like Steve McQueen to run like a little pussy is dumb and honestly what could have been at least good with a longer runtime ended as a pile of roadkill stinking up the road. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Nathaniel I liked the movie because there are a lot of speeding cars and drama Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/16/21 Full Review Audience Member It's by no means even a very involving film, but it does have decent effects, camera-work and music. It also showcases retro cars along with other things that are different from that time. It's screenplay even gives somewhat of an understanding to where the parts in The Fast and the Furious (2001) came from. However, the rest of writing has shifty character motives and some unimpressive acting. At least it's only an hour or so long; it'll go by quick.
