Audience Member Lots of action. Tons of mother nature fury. Great acting. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member I had a blast watching this just not at good as Category 7. Good special effects for the time Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review William P The incident about cutting the North American Continent, in half, should NOT happen in real life. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/14/16 Full Review Audience Member It would almost be tolerable without the horrendous cinematography. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member one of the worst movies ever made. disaster movies are usually a fun viewing, but this is just blatant idiocy. i cant believe this was allowed to go ahead and be made as a hollywood movie!!!! it was shocking. the camera work was blatant, the acting was blatant, the action scenes were blatant, EVERYTHING WAS BLATANT!!! and to everyone who reads this review, if you have watched 10.5, look up blatant in the dictionary and you will see what i mean. the word describes this movie too perfect for words. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member The usual stuff for this type of movie. 1970s disaster movie storylines with the advantage of so so CGI. Second level dialogue, hokey plot points ( argumentative siblings, familial sacrifice, unknown pregnancies) fill the minutes until the end. If there's really nothing else on........... John Leonard New York Magazine/Vulture As in Fatal Contact, the disasters have more character than the characters. Jan 17, 2018 Full Review Scott Weinberg DVDTalk.com The thing's a freakin' migraine waiting to happen, trust me. And that's not even taking the dialogue into account.
