Hannah K If it wasn't for the amazing graphics of the afterlife it would be no stars. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/03/23 Full Review Bill D The movie takes big swings with a pretty clever idea for a plot, but the storytelling isn't up to snuff. Jeff Goldblum does the best he can with the material and the rest of the cast is adequate, but all too often I found myself rolling my eyes at Hideaway's corniness. Also the special effects shouldn't be so bad in a movie made 4 years after Terminator 2 and 2 years after Jurassic Park. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/07/22 Full Review jelisije j A very unique story that deserved a better production, but the ending nearly ruined this movie for me. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Awful Dean Koontz adaptation with a good cast (Jeff Goldblum, Alfred Molina), a wacky premise, and abysmal execution (the mid-90s CGI sticks out like a sore thumb). Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review steve d Not as good as the book and sometimes the effects don't hold up, but it is still fun. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member The movie and overall story is good but brought down by the bad effects (even for the 90s) and the final scene.
