Blobbo X Nice love story and true. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/01/23 Full Review jon c First Look Pictures presents the true story of infinite love Nobel Prize-winning Richard Feyman is best known for his contribution to physics in the early 1900s but he leaned more towards romance than anything Mathew Broderick directs and stars as Feynman, in his youth he studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology While there he meets and falls in love with Patricia Arquette's Arline Greenbaum They get married but unfortunately she develops a degenerative disease Later Feynman is called by the us government to assist to create the atomic bomb This ultimately tests his faith in science Feynman is also met with hostility by higher ups about his theories and finding faults in their security systems His father has little confidence in him pursuing the career he's reaching for as well as Arline not being able to survive for much longer But he maintains a positive composure for him and her to live as happily as possible The idea that there is no number bigger than itself equals infinity, our lives shouldn't be limited by our years or how much time is left This movie is 2 hours too long but Broderick and Arquette are sweet together juggling their happiness as well as mathematics Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member derivitive, formulaic, predictable rubbish Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review nate m I am a fan of Richard Feynman, the Nobel prize winner for Physics. But this movie is not about physics. It is a sad love story. And I know it is a true story because Feynman wrote books which I read years ago where he tells exactly this whole story. That said, it's a sad movie without enough joy to celebrate as you watch. I wish the happy, bongo-drum playing Feynman would have come out more. He took pride in being different. His wife was his world and they had fun before she got sick. I wish there was more of that in the movie. But it's well done and not a bad way to spend an hour and a half. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member A product of seemingly 90's television that should've been helmed by a more ambitious indie filmmaker to service the fascinating topic/story. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Sweet story. Kind of depressing, but hey, it's a movie about a guy's wife dying. A pseudo somber tone is to be expected.
