Audience Member Family friendly Australian movie about a boy and a girl trying to reunite a kangaroo joey named you guessed it Joey with its kidnapped parents and break up a illegal kangaroo fighting ring. I realize it is a low budget foreign made film, but it should have at least one redeeming quality, right? Not that I could find. The characters were mostly stiff and unlikable. The bad guys were laughable. Even the cute title character couldn't save this stinker. It could not hold their attention. It has a good message but it does not make the kids care about the roos. In the beginning my daughter was very worried about the roos.
