Audience Member This is most definitely an over-the-top film, starting off sick and getting progressively sicker and sucking you in during the process. the characters are well-defined and well-realized, especially Philip Seymour Hoffman's smarmy, reptilian Duncan, Robin Tunney's not-as-dumb-or-pathetic-as-she-appears Kitty and Sedgwick's hardboiled-on-the-outside Claire. Of course the film belongs to Stanley Tucci, the film's dying hitman. Another sublime, subtle performance from this extraordinarily talented actor; he actually manages to give this brutal excursion a heart. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member brilliant film, lots of fun, action packed, and the various twists and turns keep you on the edge of your seat in eager anticipation of the next gag in this pulp fiction-esque black comedy Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member It's all about the money Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Surprisingly entertaining 'mobster' type film with some new twists. Hip for its day. And the cast is outstanding. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member About a professional hit woman targeted by her own organization. Claire (Sedgwick) is an accomplished assassin who gives her all to the boss (Robbie Coltrane). But when the boss gives Claire the low level task of retrieving his runaway girlfriend Kitty, Claire knows she's losing her juice. To make matters worse, the girlfriend (Robin Tunney) commits a murder while in Claire's custody. Forced to flee from her own syndicate, Claire soon finds that Kitty is a femme fatale to be reckoned with. Great cast, solid performances all around, especially by Stanley Tucci, as a terminally ill hitman. Lots of black humor. Watch for John Ritter as a suprisingly convincing bad guy. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Terrific gangster thriller with satisfying mix of comedy & drama. Great shootout!
