Audience Member Think Dr. House as a Japanese anime superhero. A very odd movie with an odd premise. The animation is quality, the story is compelling and the pacing is quite good. If you are a fan of anime storytelling, you will enjoy this movie. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Incredible how this site got the wrong year! By reading the plot described, it's obvious the film was made for 1996! Not 1993! I have watched it today, June 4, 2011, and damn was great (obviously, more serious than the same DR. HOUSE). But anyway, I recommend this film to all the fans of the manga (which is damn old!), and obviously of this doctor, a serious one without license XD Plot: Dr. Black Jack is one of those doctors that works if you pay him, or at least tell him when you will pay him. But now, Superhumans are appearing on Olympic Games, and he must find out who is making this superhumans no matter if it's in music, sports, or any art or job kind. He in 3 days must check this out (leaving the kid alone in home, and by the way, she is funny LOL). How this will end? Will he operate this humans? Will he get paid well? Check it, is worth it. Music: Skipped the voice over part, since no matter the language or accent, you will still enjoy this masterpiece of art. Defenetly, stars for this wonderful score and yes, for those who gived their voices to this wonderful anime characters (the manga looks great, I need to read fast!). To end this short review, 3 & a half stars of 5. Is kind of slow, but has an incredible story-telling that will make you re-watch it over and over again (obviously, that only happens if your a fan of anime-mange only, and 7th Art too). Enjoy and HASTA LA PROXIMA AMIGOS/AS! CHAO! BLESS YOU ALL! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews
