Joseph J Candidly, myself and others, here, see this film through the memories of our childhood. However, upon reflection following a recent viewing, and taken in the context of early-seventies television entertainment, the film was pretty serious sci-fy/fantasy viewing. Still watchable as fun, and as part of genre filmmaking study. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/22/24 Full Review Oona M I love this movie I watched it every time it was on all through my childhood it was the first time I was up past 12 lol and my first horror film the film is great the plot is cool and some good man in monster suit 70s action the visuals are kind of pretty the cave scenes are my favorite it's a fun film Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/03/24 Full Review chris c Always love this movie since I was a little kid. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/25/24 Full Review Ted B 2.5 stars; Probably one of the more scary 'Made for TV' movies. I remember watching it back in the day and keeping the lights on. That being said. I had forgotten how low-budget-drive-in quality those 70's 'Made for TV' movies were. Watching it again made it almost laughable. The Gargoyles had wings, but you never saw them fly until the very last scene. Thanks to the low budget and no CGI. Oh, well. Two of the stars were simply for the nostalgia. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/03/24 Full Review CodyZamboni This TV movie is not bad. It manages to works up a decent level of intensity. It features a solid performance by Cornel Wilde, his cute co-star Jennifer Salt, and Scott Glenn in an early role, The sometimes cheesy creature fx by Stan Winston lowers the threat level, as we watch a scientist, his daughter, cops, and dirt bikers, team up, to battle a herd of gargoyles in US southwest desert. The prize ? Bragging rights to Earth. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/01/24 Full Review Dallas H Stan Winston makeup designs on the gargoyles, yay! This made-for-television movie is cheesy. But watching it helps pass the time on a quiet evening at home. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/24 Full Review Read all reviews
