During Lent, Chicago police Detective Andrew Hollinsworth (Leland Orser) and his partner, John Prudhomme (Christopher Lambert), track down a homicidal psychopath who has been using the limbs of his victims to reconstruct the body of Jesus Christ. Filme: Ressurreição Assistido: 12-11-23 Elenco: @christopherlambertofficial @lelandorser Modelo: #policial #suspense #serialkiller Duração: 1h 48m Ano: 1999 Minha opinião: Temos vários clássicos de serial killer: "O Silêncio dos Inocentes, Os 7 Pecados Capitais, Zodiaco, Colecionador de Ossos, Instinto Secreto, Dahmer, Cpycat, Eu Sei O Que Voceis Fizeram no Verão Passado, Psicose, 10 Minutos para Morrer,... Neste filme temos Lambert no papel principal, que o papel de detetive da policia. Com assassinatos macabros, com corpos dilacerados ele começa investigar e cada vez que se aprofunda, mais macabro a estoria vai se tornando. Até descobrir que o assassino esta construindo com as partes das vitimas o corpo de Cristo e os assinatos ocorrem nas sexta-feiras e com a finalização no dia da Páscoa. Mas no final tem uma grande surpresa da vitima que estará la, que vai abalar Lambert. O filme não tras aquele suspense de Seven, mas cenas de terror com um corpo pendurado em anzóis. Não é um filme para crianças. Acredito que o filme vale mais com as cenas montadas dos assassinatos e principal trunfo. Roteiro e enredo fltou ser trabalhado mais para que se tornasse um sucesso, mas não foi. Mesmo tendo Lambert no elenco. Vale apena assistir? Para quem curte o estilo de filme. O filme não é ruim ele é mediano. Nota: 5,5

As a fan of thrillers, crime mystery movies, Ressurection is, for me, one of the best ever made. Excellent performance by Lambert. A very well directed movie and a superb background score with powerful thrills. A solid remake of Se7en (1995 movie) but with a more powerful chase between the psycho and the detectives. No doubt 5 ☆

A shameless knockoff of Se7en, that proves to be effective in its own right. What it lacks in originally it makes up for with grim gore and a Grindhouse charm. It's at least one I'll definitely give another spin.
