Beckett is a pampered and selfish cat who totally takes for granted the lucky hand he has been dealt. All that is about to change, however, when he carelessly loses his ninth life. With no lives left and faced with the inevitable, Beckett pleads for things to be back to how they were. At first his request is refused but in a moment of exceptional empathy, the 'Gatekeeper' has a change of heart and allows him to return to earth with a whole new set of lives. What he doesn't realize immediately however is that each of these new lives will see him return in a variety of different forms... each one teaching him a valuable & timely lesson. It is a journey that sees Beckett turn from gloriously self-absorbed pet to a self-sacrificing hero; because sometimes you must travel many different roads to find the very best version of yourself. Fionnuala Halligan Screen International This sweetly-charming children’s animation from the UK goes back to basics in style and content, grooming a smart idea into a purring success. Jan 21, 2024 Full Review Christian Zilko indieWire Even if some script and visual elements would surely have been smoothed over by a more conventional development process, the flaws add a human touch that makes the film strangely endearing. Rated: B- Jan 21, 2024 Full Review Milagros Amondaray La Nación (Argentina) The script by Karen Wengrod and Ken Cinnamon is simple, but moving. Cindy L A charm box. In spite of too many butt jokes and silly villain helpers it is a beautiful move with many deep feelings and a deep value. I must say, it is one of the best surprises i have seen in an animation movie. Tissues are a must for a cry. Hope it appears in America so my friends can see it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/11/24 Full Review Hazel Y Honestly one of the better cartoon movies I’ve seen in a while that is mainly comedic but also provides great educational value for kids about being selfless and doing what is right without asking for rewards. Narrative is a bit generic and cliché, but overall would recommend for anyone looking for a good kids-friendly show that’s short and sweet :) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/06/24 Full Review Wian S It was mid, okay story, good performance, dumb Villian motivation. All the best parts are in the trailer Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/09/24 Full Review Audience Member 3 kids, 1 wife, and me. Went from slow to funny to a very great end. After seeing more kids movies than i ever thought i would, 10 Lives is one of the better ones cause it is a great message and holds the heart. We all liked (mom and dad), and loved (kids) it. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/22/24 Full Review Victoria C I was surprised by this film, at first I was thinking it was rubbish and as an adult I shouldn't be watching it, but something made me see it through, by the end I was hooked and pleasantly surprised to find out that there was a moral in the story! I ended up loving this film despite being an adult and watching it on my own! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/16/24 Full Review Read all reviews
