The second of three Kiwi tv movies centering on private detective John Lawless. A widow hires the agency to find out if her gay husband was murdered but is really out to score on the sale of his missing stash of a new drug. Gets better as it goes. Not good enough to make me seek out the other two Lawless films but I wouldn't avoid them either.

Made for TV New Zealander has widow hiring detective to investigate the circumstances of her husband's death. A few twists and better-than-expected story for a New Concorde video release. Unites two leads more famous for their turns on the syndicated Hercules and Xena series.
