Audience Member my only complaint most of the players in this are not worn enough to be in bukowski's work Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member No se, esta rara pero si el amor es un perro infernal como dice jajaa Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member A very odd coming of age story of sorts about a boy dealing with his sexual awakenings. Its not all that surprising given that the film is loosely based off of Charles Bukowski's work, but the film really never gets to the point where much is being said. Its essentially a story about a child/man whom never really has an opportunity to find his soulmate. Has some interesting things and a pretty oddly beautiful ending but as a whole its really could have been so much more. The film just never digs deep enough into the relationship between love, lust, and sex to really succeed for me. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Crazy Love is one of the best underground cult films out there, based on the writings of Charles Bukowski the films takes place in three parts and spans over twenty years of a man's life. The title Crazy Love is perfect for this picture the acting and direction are fantastic, but the cinematography is what steals the cake the low budget and the music gives the film a creepy feeling that you know something bad is going to happen. Title song Crazy Love is awesome fits the film perfectly, highly recommended! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member A joy from start to finish. Captivating, emotional, poetic. Wonderful acting, especially from Josse De Pauw. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Imbued with the savage lyric beauty of Bukowski Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Walter Goodman New York Times The episodes are no more than anecdotes really, but rich in incident, and the writing, photography (by Willy Stassen) and direction fill them with conviction. Dec 18, 2004 Full Review Ángel Fernández-Santos El Pais (Spain) A bitter movie, but at the same time, it's tender, simple, and full of pain.
