Felix Vasquez Jr. Cinema Crazed The better of the "Cube" movies with a great story, plenty of tension, and a pleasing surprise ending. Feb 19, 2014 Full Review Pablo Villaça Cinema em Cena Explora com certa eficincia a premissa da srie, expandindo-a de forma interessante e incluindo, como bnus, um desfecho que amarra a trilogia com elegncia. Rated: 3/4 Feb 16, 2005 Full Review Scott Weinberg eFilmCritic.com Cube Zero moves along at a brisk pace, doling out its death-knells in a reliable cadence, delivering a solid balance between high-end gore and a nifty narrative. The M Beginning with a traditional death occurring in the cube we see the story is centered on two programmers that monitor the subjects within the cube and reports it to the higher up. This is a rare prequel that can connect to the first Cube film by adding more questions as to who or what is controlling the Cube or if there are multiple cubes with different variations. The film does have a start with the current subjects trying to find a way out but lacks enginuity of the use of the traps or adding a few other subjects non essential to the story. It does give a perspective that something very wrong is in effect and is allowed. The little guy wanting to help save the woman who was wrongly accused becomes sufficient. It isn't better than Cube but stays within Cube realm to act as self character to Cube. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/03/24 Full Review Joseph W This movie was in line to be my favorite of the the trilogy until that terrible eye prosthetic came in. Just let him be a bad guy. It wasn't necessary. Completely took me out of the "universe." Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/07/24 Full Review Audience Member Ever wonder who was working the cube of Cube? Here is the answer and I think it's just as good as the original. Thank god it's not the second one. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review robert p The second Cube stunk to high heavens but this one gets back on track with the Original Cube, thus the 4 star rating!!!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Yeah, it helps by vaguely giving more to the back story of the other two movies, but it does so weakly. The story isn't as strong, nor is the acting. Its saving grace comes at the end... Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
