A stripper, Ruby (Katia Winter), meets a mysterious man, Vincent (Giles Alderson), in a London café. They're attracted to one another, but there's something about Vincent that bothers Ruby. She finds out what that is when Vincent, a vampire, turns Ruby into one as well. The couple stay together and try to fight against their desire for human blood. When Ruby's sleazy employers get wind of the situation, though, they send a serial killer to bring her back and deal with Vincent for good.

Jeffrey M. Anderson Combustible Celluloid There's not much new here, but there is at least one good sex scene. Sep 6, 2007 Full Review Kevin A. Ranson MovieCrypt.com Sexy, bloody, and disturbing, this decidedly unglamorous view of vampirism is a refreshing spin on a classic idea. Rated: 3/4 Jul 9, 2007 Full Review Read all reviews

jelisije j A vampire movie that had no budget, but somehow is good? A movie that is held on by its interesting characters to which in turn makes an interesting story. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Nothing surprising me at all. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Vampires are compared to junkies in this British movie. A Vampire and his newly aquired Vampire Stripper Girlfriend attempt to give up blood and do valium instead. Watching people on Valium is not that interesting and watching Vampires is not either. The bloke from the Bill with the knife in his shoe was good as a proper nutjob who ate the next door neighbour. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Vampires are like herion addicts walking the streets in search of the next fix. Some decent imagery, average acting and a strip club thrown in for some nudity. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Nothing surprising me at all. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Thanks to digital tecnology just about anyone with some spare cash can be a "filmmaker". The horror genre especially is now overrun with straight to DVD movies that make "Blood Feast" look like a Mario Bava film by comparison. Thankfully "Night Junkies" turns out to be one of the better efforts. In London a plague which infects peoples blood is decimating the population- the only way to survive is to turn to vampirism.Vincent is a young man who falls in love with Ruby after a chance encounter at a coffee shop. Unknown to him Ruby is a prostitute who has been infected with the plague by her sadistic pimp and that Ruby is doing her damndest not to make him her next fix. Stylish, absorbing and with an interesting take on the vampire genre, full of humor, gore, disturbing violence and gratuitous female nudity, "Night Junkies" ticks all the boxes for what (by my standards anyway!) makes a good, satisfying horror flick.
