Audience Member My friend Jesse Yuhaz is on the cover of this film. It also stars his sister. One of the funniest lines in the movies is when someone says to her in the film "Fuck you Marissa!" Check it out for that. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member hurt was "interesting" at best. not only did it look like a four year old filmed it with a camera phone, but it introduced me to some actors that reminded me of bored forty year old virgins trying to get ladies in their mommy's basement. can some one explain the "johnny scene" to me please? this is the kind of movie that is awesome when you're with friends, but alone it would be unbearable. the script was halarious though, providing lines that will stick forever such as : you saw roxy rox, paris, and that dumb bitch kayla in her stupid leather jacket or "i'm not gonna hurt you, i just want to be nice to you." the budget of $5 was very clear as well. all and all WE LOVE HURT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Hurt (2006) Rleased by Salvation Films is one of those movies you watch and come away with a feeling of mixed shock and the need to see more. Although in the age of "Reality Horror" with such movies as Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, The Last Horror Movie and Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon, it has a unique spin on the whole sreial killing for fame and prosperity angle. Directed by Scott A. Martin and starring Nate Cyrier, Tamara Taylor Baber, Ron Burgher, Lacey Berry, Lee Christian and Jeanie Cheek. The direction was great but the end product seemed a little polished for my taste. One would expect a gritty, grainy sequence spliced with some slightly beeter quality cut scenes, but it overall works. Acting was surprisingly good and convincing, victims acually had some haunting qualities you would see in life. My hat is off to the cast. What I liked about this movie is the fact that there was brutality, but it left a lot to the imagination instead of being in your face gore from the start. I feel people have forgotten how to fill in the blanks and draw conclusions. Over all I have to reccomend that anyone into the reality horror aspect see this, as well as any fan of stalker slasher films. I enjoyed it and will be watching it again soon. Well done. . Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member I'm not even sure where to begin with this one. The movie itself makes little to no sense and seems like nothing more than a last ditch effort to try and cash in on the success of movies like Hostel and Saw. The only thing this shot on DV mess succeeds in doing is leaving the viewer wondering where the "gore fest" is and how this movie got a distribution deal Clocking in at close to 2 hours it makes finishing the film a pointless exercise in futility. Never, ever watch this film. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
