I loved thìs movie. I became depersalized after stopping an anxiety medication years ago. MY story was not the same of course but THAT STATE OF MIND was so indescribable and I could not explain it to anyone! The movie made me laugh when I thought no one in the world could understand this crazy state of mind. Well? I felt relieved that it was something real and I was not totally crazy. Lol..... GOOD mental health type movie and I like that it's a comedy.

As someone who has lived through a time of my life with de-personalisation disorder, it was interesting to see similar traits portrayed in this movie.

I just loved because it's a deep story of a man in search of a solution to his disorder, and at the same time, has the lightness of a love so sweet and sincere. Matthew Perry is absurdly wonderful. I wanted to hold him and take him home, in many scenes.

An otherwise slow, cheesy little romantic drama the importance of which rests comfortably on two facts alone: In its core, it addresses depersonalization disorder, a haunting condition largely unheard of and rarely talked about -- and Matthew Perry's excellent, unChandler-like performance. Here, have my three and a half stars, "Numb". You've earned them.
