It is definitely something new, but what comes out is such a mess of ideas and the acting is so bad. I loathe this movie. Mix of Biblical allegory, Buddhist motifs, martial arts, sci-fi and sexploitation among other elements makes scant sense but does have the virtue of unique singularity. The first movie gets 0 , the second gets a 1.5 (the best of the 3, just because it had some cool fighting in Korea), and the third I give a .5, for being a so so film school movie. 2/3= .67 stars.
