After 12 years of bucolic bliss, Mr. Fox (George Clooney) breaks a promise to his wife (Meryl Streep) and raids the farms of their human neighbors, Boggis, Bunce and Bean. Giving in to his animal instincts endangers not only his marriage but also the lives of his family and their animal friends. When the farmers force Mr. Fox and company deep underground, he has to resort to his natural craftiness to rise above the opposition.

Fantastic Mr. Fox is a movie you watch during your childhood that you like but truly don't understand and that gives a skewed insight of the true beauty of this film. Visually stunning, great plot, the voices sound natural. its quite honestly my favourite movie of all time. WATCH THIS.

I love how artsy this movie is. I love how this film was done with stop motion rather than being an entirely animated movie, the stop motion was extremely well done and consistently shot. I’m a sucker for the dialogue in this, it’s very narrative and story telling but it has its own creative twist to it and it just works. The cool small attention to details in this movie like having things timed in fox hours or years was also just really cool, and I adore the characters in this film so much. Not a single hiccup on the movie for me, it’s just a really fun time

A beautiful work of art with Wes Anderson's first step into animation. There's so much visual flair with the vibrant Fall colors and such finely detailed set designs. The characters are so memorable and each having their own funny & unique personality quirks that only Wes Anderson could come up with. The heists and farmer plots are both hilarious and genuinely ingenious as a great game of cat-and-mouse. The voice acting is terrific, starring Wed Anderson's favorite reoccurring cast members like Owen Wilson & Bill Murray, but also fresher faces like George Clooney and Meryl Streep. It's not perfect (gets a little flimsy in some spots near the beginning and towards the end), but I still loved the movie and appreciate Wes Anderson's deep respect for the artistry and craft of filmmaking.
